Individuals struggle to learn for a variety of reasons. Two processes are essential in helping individuals with learning struggles. The first is helping them “learn how to learn.” This process is typically done through EF coaching. The second is helping them use these new skills to remediate weaknesses that have developed. Whether these weaknesses are the result of ineffective learning histories or a neurodevelopmentally-based learning disability, these individuals will need help catching up to their peers academically.
BCSC’s learning-based services offer an array of tutoring and teaching strategies to help an individual make up academic ground. To schedule an intake, contact our office at bcscla@bostonchildstudycenter.com or 888-225-1995.
